FOUND En hier zit een ongelooflijk verhaal achter.... Thanks for the brains sam&co

Thanx for hiding.

Zombies tend to walk hunched over and are really stiff. This place will help them get walking straighter... at least for a little bit. This is the only way to lure them here to help them is by placing a brain.

There has been permission to place this here. Can be a busy place during the day. There is parking available in the lot.

I saw this publish and noticed I was just over an hour away. So after work I headed hom to change clothes and headed out. Arrived about 7pm to the area. It was a windy and rainy evening here. Used the flashlight to look around and spotted the brains in the corner of my eye. Whoo hoo.

Parkside Dr, Portage, IN, US

As the cool autumn air rustled the leaves and the sun let off her last beams of warm welcoming light for the evening I went about a relaxing walk in this lovely park. It was shortly after that I felt something was amiss. A strange fog began to rise from the pond nearby. There was a man walking his dogs while on the phone. He carried on with his conversation unaware at the dangers lurking. His dogs began growling. Their low steady growl echoing off the nearby buildings. Something had the pooches on their guard. Their fur stood at attention. They showed teeth and snarled. It was then I heard a whisper almost undisguishable. I thought it was the voice of a man but it was far away. As I walked further from the field it grew louder. It was then I thought I could make out the sound. Braaaaains is what it moaned. I knew I was losing it. Too much work and not enough fun, it makes you a little loopy at times. Braaaaains the wind was whispering through the trees. The sound grew louder and louder until....a scream. The scream was of pain, anguish, surprise. I called out, "are you ok". I heard a gurgling cry of help. The sound of someone drowning. And then out from the mist, a man. He was covered in blood and reaching out with one arm while covering his throat with his other hand. He was drowning in his own blood. My adrenaline was pumping. I reached for my phone but something grabbed a hold of my arm. I swirled around in a panic and with a half slap and a full push I was free. I turned and ran but tripped over the man who was now on the ground and surely dead. I came inches from slamming face first into an air conditioner unit. It was then I found the canister of toxic waste. Surely this was from a government experiment gone wrong. I quickly grabbed the container while I was on the ground thinking this must be related. I was beginning to gain my composure when the man I had tripped over.... THE DEAD MAN I had tripped over began to get up. Gone were the cries of help as he drown in a puddle of his own blood. He now looked at me with dark, blank eyes and softly screamed "braaaaains". It was then I bolted. But more of these creatures with the body of a man but the blank expression of a scarecrow surrounded me. The dogs that I heard earlier came running, lunging, and fought them back. I saw my chance, a hole between them that the dogs had created. They weren't going after the dogs. It was me they wanted. I quickly ran to my vehicle, got in and locked the doors. What happened next was what happens in all horror movies. That's right I couldn't remember my password to log my find. So now you get a long story after I got home, has dinner, and then finally got logged in.

Noticed that Oregon was lacking zombie lures, so we decided we'd take a weekend trip down south to see if we could catch ourselves a zombie. We thought that Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery may be a good spot for zombie hunting, but we didn't have any luck...maybe the rain kept them at bay or maybe it was our presence under the big tree. Regardless, we left behind the brain we brought to lure out the zombies. Best of luck to zombies and hunters alike!

cron publish 10 months 4 weeks ago 268 - The Haunting of Conover Square

N 3rd St, Oregon, IL, US

The posted coordinates will get you close as your GPS will not work when you get too close. Use the pics to finish your quest.

Conover Square in Oregon is an old piano factory built in the 1890s. While this historic building serves as a shopping mall, there are tales of haunted happenings. It has been reported that a girl’s spirit giggles in the hallways and museum. Loud crashes boom from an unoccupied third floor, and some say there is a presence of a man in the south hallway. Travis Rockefeller and Chad Glovier of the Greater Rockford Apparition and Ghost Group took an interest in the hauntings of Conover Square, 201 N. Third St., Oregon. The team paired up with Mike Grasso, a former store owner at the square, who now sets up ghost tours for interested parties. The building is owned by Lou VanderWyst, who Grasso said has been accommodating to the ghost hunting business. For the most part, Conover Square is about a shopping experience, and Grasso said this is why people visit. But there are still those people interested in ghost activity and the paranormal. “From the standpoint of ghosts, the best way to start is explain what they won’t find,” said Grasso. “There are no cheesy fright gimmicks, such as people with spooky masks jumping around the corner. It’s not set up, and everything that happens in the building is a genuine experience.” There is no definitive history of Conover Square. Much of what is known is anecdotal, hearsay, or just research. A file at the Oregon Public Library is quoted in several articles as a source, but the actual information there is more like reminisces of former workers than historical facts. What is known is that the building, now known as Conover Square, was built over the span of about 20 years. The south wing is the oldest section, built in the early 1890s. The order of construction toward the end is murky, but it’s safe to say that by about 1910 the footprint of the building is fairly close to what is seen today. Until about 1970, pianos were manufactured under the name of Schiller, Conover, Cable, and many others before demand slowed enough to force the factory’s closure. The factory reopened for a short time in the early 1970s for a limited production of baby grand pianos, but soon closed again. In the mid-1970s, the vacant building was purchased and most of the first two main floors were converted into a shopping village. A walk through the halls today still reflects an old-world style to the storefronts that reflect this concept. Ghost hunts are offered year-round. October is the busiest season, mostly made by appointment. Grasso said shopkeepers have shared stories of a “lady in white,” who enters stores, but is never seen exiting. Grasso said another shopkeeper watched a man do the same thing. Others claim unexplained sounds, such as hearing a gate open, knocks, cries, growls and the occasional piano notes. Some guests have reported touches, cold spots or breezes and tugs on clothing. Because the old factory sits a few feet from the Rock River it is a “conduit for paranormal activity,” said Glovier. “We referred to it as the perfect storm for being haunted,” he said. “We investigated, met with Mike Grasso and after a tour of the building, we had barely finished setting up our equipment when one of our motion sensors suddenly went off on the floor above us. We went upstairs to see who or what could have set it off, but found nothing.” Glovier said the team made their way through the building and recounts feelings of dread and uneasiness. Glovier said he felt a cold, faint touch against his neck, almost as if a drop of sweat had landed. “In disbelief, I asked Travis to shine his light to see if there were any flying insects that could have grazed my neck, and when we discovered that there weren’t, we didn’t rule out any possibility that it could have been a physical manifestation of a spirit.”

This fella was in attendance at GC8B3BY Monster Mash: Mystery Madness last night and, well.... That FOOD! See, Brian thought he was being slick and could score some more Yummy Mummy Balls and Pulled-ergeist Pork after the guests had all left. As he was sneaking back in during clean up he accidentally crawled through Area 421 and picked up a nice case of toxic slime poisoning. Ugh! As you might imagine he dissolved into a gooey, slimy mess and the clean up crew had to contain it all in a small drum. Curious, one of the crew left a small sample in a smaller drum around the back of the building to check on it once and again, "just to see what happens. Ya know, for posterity sake".

This is clearly a bad idea so maybe you should go grab this thing right quick before it spins out of control.

The coords lead you to the front door. Yer Zombie-sense should lead you to the tag around the back of the building! Good luck.

The Zombies like to congregate in, around, and along the way to the old tunnel. Over the years the scientists have discovered how to tell the difference between a brain that is infected with the zombie virus and a normal brain. The brain that has been exposed to the virus reacts to UV light and glows. A UV light may helpful for you find the zombie brain but isn't necessary. "X" marks the spot Be very careful when you are on your way to find the tag. As you descend down the trail keep an eye out for any rogue zombies. The tag coordinates are the entrance to the tunnel. The tag is hidden in the tunnel in the semi-darkness. The key to finding the tag is a UV light and the number 57. The #57 represents the number of rail road ties from the entrance of the tunnel to the prize.
GOOD LUCK & ENJOY the journey.

BONUS I added a surprise to the container. :)

Note: This tag will only be hidden in this location until Halloween!

What better place is there to attract zombies than a haunted theme park? The "Gool Bus" parked nearby regularly transports in newly-turned zombies for their collection.

The skeleton will direct you to the entrance (see photo 2). The gate should be open during the day, or you can go during official open hours in the evening after 7pm when all the zombies, ghosts, & monsters are active, & when guests arrive. The female owner is aware a "scavenger hunt" has been added here. The areas shown have public access this time of year, but she warned do NOT leave the parking area (probably to protect your brains from being eaten or from other ghastly things).

Go to the backside of the hearse shown on the left side of the picture; it is standing vertically (photo 1). Go around to the back window, lay down on the ground & reach in. The tag is in a camo taped baggie almost directly under the shifter, covered by leaves & a small stick (photo 4). It's not buried too deep, but we have no idea how deep those leaves actually go. So, basically, we're suggesting you try not to disturb them too much or the tag might go deeper to who knows where.

For more information on the park (optional) go to https://www.hauntedhollowomaha.com/
